Balance
Balance is …
… the common area between opposing spaces:
Side to side, front to back, top to bottom.
Balance is the discernible connection between the visibleand the unseen. The sun shimmering on a blue ocean, the restful velvet blackness of night – a balance for eyes.
The sighing wind and rustle of leaves, birdsong, people talking, children’s laughter – a balance for ears. Muscle intelligence active with the joy of movement, mental intelligence active with the joy of expression – a balance for senses.
The more fully we experience, the more fully we know – a balance
Holding on, letting go of sights and sounds, of thoughts and feelings, of being and doing – opposing actions are tempered by balance.
